Layne Norton

Layne Norton is the founder of BioLayne. He created the company to provide ethical, science-based coaching that synthesized real world experience with evidence based protocols. In his coaching career he has turned over 70 people pro and reshaped the way that countless people think about nutrition. To that end, Layne completed a BS in Biochemistry and a PhD in Nutritional Sciences, honing his intellectual skills under Dr. Donald Layman, one of the foremost researchers on protein metabolism and fat loss in the world. He has also enjoyed success in bodybuilding, winning a natural pro card in 2006 and competing as a pro in 2010 with his career highlight being a heavyweight class win at the 2010 IFPA International. He has also done extremely well in powerlifting, winning USAPL Nationals in 2014 and 2015 in the 93kg class and finishing with an overall silver medal at the 2015 IPF worlds, including a then world record squat of 303kg (668 lbs). He has also written two best-selling books, The Complete Contest Prep Guide and Fat Loss Forever while continuing to provide enormous amounts of free content via social media, podcasts, articles, and various other outlets. He has spoken all over the world including seminars in Australia, UK, Ireland, Denmark, Scotland, Canada, Thailand, with plans for more in the future. More recently, he has focused on providing ongoing support to help more people via biolayne.com and it's subscription membership as well as training other coaches to use his methods to help their clients succeed. 

Holly Baxter

Holly Baxter has a strong background in athletics as a successful sprinter in high school and carried this success over into her competitive physique career. She is a two time world level champion fitness model in the Natural Universe and Natural Olympia competitions (2015) and recently achieved pro status with the WBFF. Despite her strong athletic background, Holly has always placed a heavy emphasis on academia and lifelong learning having earned a bachelors in Food Science and a Masters in Dietetics. The combination of knowledge with her real world results and 5 years of coaching experience made her a great choice for the Director of Nutrition for BioLayne. She loves working with clients, producing informative content, and training other coaches to help make a positive difference in people's health. 

David Mathas

David is an Army Combat Medic Veteran, holds two personal training certifications, and in finishing up his Master’s in Exercise Science at the University of South Florida. David has been a BioLayne coach since 2017 and specializes in Reverse Dieting, Fat Loss, and Muscle Building. He has a passion for bodybuilding, powerlifting, and helping general population individuals achieve their goals. Along with coaching, David also runs the day to day operations for BioLayne LLC. He makes it his life mission to help educated and guide people towards achieving their goals using evidence based techniques as well as hands on knowledge he has gained throughout the years.

Noah Lee

Noah Lee has been working with team BioLayne under Dr. Norton and Holly Baxter since August of 2018. He currently is completing his B.S. at The University of Tampa, where he is also a member of their NCAA Division II Men's golf team. After the completion of his degree at UT, Noah plans on attaining his Masters degree in Dietetics. Noah's specialty includes helping his clients set up the most efficient fat-loss diets possible by focusing on pre-diet metabolic health and reverse dieting. He is well versed in all aspects of the coaching process.

Sarah Ford

Sarah holds a Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences, and is currently earning her Master's in Exercise Science at the University of South Florida under Dr. Bill Campbell’s lab. Sarah believes in the power of proper nutrition, hard work in the gym, and using scientific methods when developing protocols for her clients. She truly lives and breathes the fitness lifestyle, and is a competitor in the NPC bikini division, and has plans to compete in a powerlifting meet in the future.


Sarah is passionate about not only helping her clients to succeed in their performance and physique goals, but also helping them to build confidence to accomplish any of their life goals!

Jaymes Longstrom

Jaymes Longstrom earned his Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Concordia University, St. Paul. In 2019, he graduated with his Master’s of Science in Exercise Science from the University of South Florida. Jaymes has coordinated a number of research studies and presented original data at national conferences under the supervision of Dr. Bill Campbell in the Performance and Physique Enhancement Laboratory. Jaymes is a competitive physique athlete who has also competed in powerlifting. Jaymes believes the value of research is in its practical application; each client will benefit from a scientific and uniquely individualized approach.

Nina Silic

Nina Silic has had 10 years experience within the health and fitness industry as an athlete, coach and trainer. She has been an IFBB Pro since 2013 and is a former client of Layne Norton. Nina holds a Bachelors degree from Curtin University of Technology Australia. Nina plans on attaining her Masters degree in Dietetics and is currently completing the PN Nutrition certification.


Nina is also a mum and understands the importance of working with new mothers on their nutritional structure.


As someone who has a history of hormonal and food dysfunctions, Nina has a sound knowledge of the do’s and dont’s and how to achieve your goals while maintaining optimal long term health.

Keith Kraker

Keith Kraker is a Registered Dietitian and natural bodybuilder that is passionate about helping others achieve their goals while living a healthier lifestyle. He earned his Bachelor’s in Nutrition and Dietetics with honors from Eastern Michigan University and has experience working with physique competitors or those just looking to improve their fitness. Keith has worked under Layne since 2017 and has been able to learn and use many of the strategies that have brought Layne’s clients continued success with dieting.
