Weight Loss and Social Media

A new study examined social media characteristics of those who want to lose weight and those who have actually been successful with weight loss. Interestingly, the study found that people who are wishing to pursue weight loss were less likely to follow people who were thin, while people who were actually successful with weight loss were MORE likely to follow people who were thin. I discuss these results, what they mean, and the practical implications of them.
