I never thought that I would see this moment. After years of expressing interest, and you all clamoring for it, it’s finally going to happen.
But, since some of you might not know, here is a little back story.
I like Joe Rogan’s podcast. I appreciate the time he dedicates to interviewing his guests. I appreciate that he is open to having a variety of different people on there with a veritable mix of viewpoints.
But, when it came to nutrition, his guests were diverse, but the list was incomplete.
You can see this because of the bias they all have towards the low carb high fat way of eating. And if you know me, you know I don’t hate what people do only if they misrepresent science… and there was a lot of that on the show.
My main points are quite simple when it comes to someone’s dietary practice:
- Is it generally a safe practice?
- Do you like doing what you’re doing?
- Can you keep doing what you’re doing?
- Is what you’re doing working?
Those facets are what I care about the most. Whenever someone comes to me for fat loss, contest prep, or muscle gain, I want them to accomplish their goal in the healthiest way possible. To that end, it’s best my message of reason and science reaches a lot of people.
With that, I will be making an appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast this week.
If that isn’t sweet enough, Dr. Dominic D’Agostino will be joining me. As you know, Dom is a cancer researcher as well as a proponent of the ketogenic diet (in addition to being a practitioner of it).
We will be there, talking the science, having a friendly discussion, and I hope to see you all there.
Finally, you are probably wondering when this takes place. I’ll be recording it at 1pm Eastern time this Friday, September 28th. It will also be a live broadcast. Rest assured, we’ll keep you posted.
