• Ryan Doris’ Video Log 5: The Dichotomy of Responsibility

Posted In: Uncategorized  /  Posted On: 09.19.12

I had to share this with you all because it was just so damned good. Ryan Doris started off as a client of mine who grew into a personal friend. I’ve been helping him prep for his pro shows this year and during that time he has been conducting video logs that are, quite frankly amazing. If you aren’t following him, you are doing yourself a disservice. You aren’t going to find training and nutrition secrets in these, but his philosophy on life, motivation, and attitude are bombs of truth that you need to watch. Besides being extremely intelligent, Ryan is also one of the best natural bodybuilders in the world. He placed runner up at the Natural Universe (he was winning after prejudging and for reasons that are still unknown they were re-judged again at the night show which is NOT standard protocol in this organization, where he lost by one vote). In this video log Ryan discusses with great honesty how that made him feel and how important it was for him to move forward. This past weekend Ryan won the HW class of the IFPA Pro International, one of the best natural bodybuilding shows on the planet. That is how you bounce back. Please watch this video, it is nothing but truth.

“If you haven’t found anything to die for, you haven’t found anything to live for.”
Really empowering video – hits home for me.
Thanks to Ryan, and thanks for sharing Layne.

Super inspirational, Ryan seems like a very intelligent and open-minded person. Layne and Ryan are the type of people that defy the stereotype that all bodybuilders are simply meatheads.
